Kimber is 9 Months Old!

Kimber weighs 16.11 pounds, 27.5 inches long, and her head size is 18 inches.
Length = between percentile 25 and 50
Weight = between percentile 5 and 10
Head Circumference = in percentile 90

 Wow, this has been a crazy busy month for Kimber, she has learned so many new things! She is standing up and lowering herself instead of flopping down, climbing, still clapping, walking with our hands with great balance, eating Cheerios, wrinkling her nose and blowing to make a hissing noise. She loves to play on the couch and play peek-a-boo by laying her head down on the pillows and popping up. She also loves to chase Harvard but I don't think he enjoys it. The best thing is she is saying da da and ma ma!!! I just love it!

The doctor was pleased on how well her skin looked after this brutal summer and told us she is ready for table foods! Still no teeth but the doctor said the top left is almost there. I thought the bottom teeth came in first but she said that is a myth!

Happy RED Friday!

Every Friday during the NFL Football Season, the Kansas City Chiefs celebrate Red Friday the Friday before the Sunday game. I really don't celebrate because I live in Ozark but my parents and sister does since they live in Kansas City. My entire family {including me} are die hard Chiefs fans! No matter how well they are playing and we {my parents} have season tickets. With that being said, my dad bought Kimber a ton of Chiefs clothes....one red jersey, one pink jersey, two onesies, a red hat, and a pair of pjs. This girl is set!

Here are pictures of Kimber's first RED Friday!

I can't believe how grown up she looks in these pictures :(

8 Months

Considering Kimber will be NINE months on Sunday, I thought I better catch up!

Kimber is getting to be so much fun! Even though she started crawling she would rather walk. She will grab your fingers and off she goes...a little wobbly but she loves it. It is so cute! So I thought if we were out in public and she wanted to walk I should get her some shoes. Well, the little peanut has the smallest feet ever and they don't make walking shoes in size 1. So I bought her a pair of size 2 TOMS in pink. They are the cutest things ever! But they are WAY too big.

She also figured out how to crawl under the chairs and use them to help her stand.

Look at how cute she is!

So we baby proofed the house.

We discovered that the Soy formula we were giving her was constipating her so we switched to regular milk based Similac. It made her regular and she actually doesn't fight us to take her bottle. She did not like the soy either.

She still loves to play Patty Cake and If You Are Happy and You Know is still her favorite song. She loves for you to sing Rock A Bye Baby to her when she falls asleep or she likes to listen to Jewel's Lullabye CD.  She is still a little peanut weighing in at 16 pounds and wears size 2 diapers.
