My new Favorite Picture

(Yes, I have an obsession with coral!)

Keeping Up with Kimber - 18 Weeks

Wow, where does the time go! Kimber is 18 weeks (almost 19 now)! She is one active little lady! She is sitting up with the help of her boppy, reaching for toys, and wants what we have.

This is how the photo shoot started...I could not get her attention. She is more interested in pulling off her socks!
So with the help of my mom we were able to get her attention.

 Look at that smile!
Now for the fun pictures!

Kicked back, watching the 5 o'clock news!

 Socks are yummy!
I was eating Cheerios for a snack so she wanted to play with them. Harvard loves Cheerios too but she would not share!

Kimber Lately

Kimber is one busy girl these days! She enjoys playing with her feet, sleeping on her belly with her booty in the air, and working on sitting up. She even cheered on the Royals for their home opener. I am from Kansas City so I still have to support my home team. Enjoy!

Giddy Up Harvard!

Kimber LOVES LOVES LOVES to watch Harvard. She is basically fascinated with him and she has started to reach out to touch him. Sometimes he is okay with it but most of the time when he sees those little hands headed towards him he runs away.

He is so good around her. He has to know where she is at all times and checks on her all the time. He will lay or sit by her but if he doesn't want to be bothered he will not come close to her. He cracks us up!

Sunday night, we thought it would be funny to have Kimber ride Harvard like a horse! Harvard just laid there like we were crazy!
Giddy Up!! Let's Go!

Looks like she is going for a ride!

Since we aren't going anywhere, I will just grab your fur!

Harvard is a lazy dog...let's face it, he's a pug...so when she is mobile he is going to have a rude awaking! Don't worry my friends, pugs are the best to have around children.

Keeping Up with Kimber 4 Months

As you can see, I am a week late on posting Kimber's four month update. I really need to get better at keeping this up-to-date.

Kimber is growing up way too fast in my opinion. I just don't know how I feel about it. I know it's going to happen but I am really enjoying this stage. I know call me crazy but I love her being so dependent on me.

She had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, April 11th so here are her stats....
Weight - 12.14 pounds
Length - 24 inches
Head I can't remember.

She is in the 25 percentile for weight, 50 percent for length and 75 percent for head. I was shocked by her weight so I made them weigh her twice! I just can't believe my 9.3 pound baby at birth is so tiny now.

She is right on target with her development. She is giggling, recognizing people and voices, rolling over, and saying one syllable words. (didn't know I needed to pay attention to syllables right now)

The only thing we need to do is transition her to her crib. She has started sleeping on her stomach so I am totally freaked out about her being away from me. I check on her so much during the night. So to ease my worries, I ordered an Angel Care monitor. We already have a video monitor but I just need her movement to be monitored.

Here are some pictures!

Poor Harvard!

Harvard had to ride in the back seat for the first time! He has always sat in front on my lap but not any more...

Poor thing! (not really)

PaPa is Funny

Papa got Kimber to laugh for the first time while we were home for Easter. Early that week, I got her to giggle three times one night while giving her a bath but I thought it was a fluke. But sure enough it was the beginning of her sweet little giggles.

I could watch this all day!

Kimber's first Easter

We were everywhere for Kimber's first Easter. We spent Saturday night with James' family by going to church at St. Joseph the Worker and then got up early Sunday morning to go to my parent's house for Sunday. We made it to Wellington by 9:15 am with Kimber sleeping the entire way.

We had to be a church by 10, so we rushed to feed her and get all three of us ready. Once we got to church, Kimber was in the spotlight. So many people I grew up with got to see her for the first time! It was awesome to see so many people happy to meet her and hold her.

After church Kimber opened up her Easter baskets and we had a mini photo session with my family before heading to my grandparents.

With her Easter baskets! The Easter bunny brought her the wicker basket, nana and papa the catipillar, and autie Jessica the bag in the back.

Here are some pictures of her and James opening her gifts...

As you can see she got 2 swim suits. Growing up my sister and I always got a swim suit for Easter so I am going to continue that tradition.

Now for the mini photo session before heading to GiGi and Pa's house for lunch...

Now pictures from Gigi and Pa's house....

We had a long day and Kimber was a little cranky on the ride home but it was well worth it!

Kimber's first trip to the park!

A couple of weeks ago we took Kimber to the park for the first time. She was only awake for a little bit of it but we really enjoyed walking the trail.James and I stopped at Subway to get subs for our picnic and then we walked the trails. We were out for about two hours! We are loving the beautiful spring weather!
