Weekend Happenings

Saturday night, Kimber slept from 7:30 to 5:30 woke up to take a bottle and went back to sleep from 6:30 to 7:30 am.  I had a few friends in from St. Louis so we had a BBQ at our house on Friday and then went to lunch and played a little more so this little girl was worn out. (I did not mind, since I went out with the girls Saturday night.) On Sunday, James, Kimber and I went Flea Market shopping so here are few fun pictures we took of Kimber! When we got home I baby proofed the house while Kimber learned to chase Harvard and James made more baby food.

Week 32

This has been a BIG week for Kimber so where do I begin!
1. She started sitting up from her belly.
2. Stopped nursing - Let me tell you, formula is expensive.
3. Pulling up in her crib, so we had to lower her mattress. 
4. Went from the bear crawl to crawling.
5. Pulling up on everything. Yes, she has bumped her head several times.

It pretty much happened in this order. Now I spend a lot time chasing her and watching her like a hawk.

This is the beginning stages of crawling...baby yoga!

For some reason my phone did not take as good as pictures. But you can see how she is on the move! She spends a lot of time in only her diaper due to the 100 + weather.

Still loves to use those feet for everything. The transition to bottle has so easy, I think she was ready. We now use the Nap Nanny to give her the bottle while she watches Dora, Bubble Gubbies or the news. Anything to help her focus.

Random Post

This post is dedicated to everything I have not posted the past month or so!

 First time to face forward in her stroller. We were attaching her car seat in the stroller but we decided to start using the stroller seat so she could see the world! She loved it!

 June 30th, while I was running a 5K Nana and Kimber stayed at the park.  This was the first time she really played with grass. Checking it out....

Happy to pull it out and feel the texture in her little fingers.

 Look at her BIG brown eyes...they will get you every time!

She loves to play with / chew on my clutch/phone case that I carry since I go back and forth from my purse and the diaper bag. Helps me to stay organize so I don't lose everything. 

I still have more but those will have to wait!

Kimber is 7 Months!

Monday, July 9th Kimber turned 7 months! Time is going by way too fast.

We tried giving her yogurt melts and it did not go very well.

Week 30

Taking pictures is getting a little difficult! She likes to grab everything in sight.

Week 28

Weeks 26 - 27

I feel horrible that I did not take a lot of pictures during this time because a lot happened.
At 26 weeks, she started rolling all over the place to get to where she needed. She even discovered her hand and that she could make it do things. It is so funny because she will stop what she is doing and look at like "What is this thing I can control!"

 She was rolling around so much her diaper was coming off!

At 27 weeks, she started getting up on her hands and knees acting like she was going to crawl but would end up army crawling. She would only do it to get to Harvard, his toys or my shoes. It was pretty funny. I do have a video I will post. (In fact, I have a lot of videos to post)

She also started using a high chair when we go out to eat which is not often. One night it was way too hot in our house to eat so we went to Prima's for dinner. Kimber even ate her dinner there!

 Yum! I love this stuff. Yes, she has to help feed herself.

For several weeks this is how she would sit in her car seat especially when we were in public.
