Kimber - You are by far the best thing that has ever happened to me and your daddy! We love you more than you will ever know. You bring us such happiness and surprise every day with something new. You are a fast learner and at one you have accomplished a lot of your 15 month milestones. I will spend an hour trying to teach you something and you will never to do it but if someone new is in the room and I am not watching you will show off what I have taught you. You are one busy little lady and love to people watch. We wish time would slow down but we know that is not possible. We have so much fun with you and you make us laugh all the time.
XOXO Mommy and Daddy

We have been struggling with her to stay her crib all night. At December 10th we decided we made the decision to make her stay in her crib. It only took a couple of nights of us sleeping her crib all night. We did sleep on the floor the first week but we accomplished our goal! I'm so shocked at how easy it was and she is now an amazing sleeper! Sometimes I have to wake her up in the morning. She goes to bed at 8:00 or 8:30 pm and sleeps until 6:45am.

Wellington Christmas Lighting

On November 24th, Wellington hosted their annual Christmas Chilli dinner, parade and the downtown Christmas lighting. Kimber and I attended along with my sister, parents and grandparents. The Wellington Fair Board started this tradition in order to help raise funds for the Wellington Fair that is held in June.

We had no idea what we were in for! We thought we were just going to eat dinner, watch the parade and lighting and then have Kimber sit on Santa's lap. Put after the parade we were shocked to hear that my dad and Kimber would be the one's turning on the lights! It was so cute. Then the ladies on the fair board volunteered my sister, Kimber and I to be photographed for the local newspaper.

Thanksgiving Weekend

This year was Kimber's first Thanksgiving! We had a lot of fun family visits and stayed at Nana and Papa's for four days! We didn't do that much shopping in fact we start our shopping at 11:00am on Friday. I am not a big Black Friday shopper and going that late was a little too crazy for me!

Taking Charile for a walk

She thinks the little area in front of the fireplace is a stage for her!

Little baby naps are beyond adorable ;)

Supporting the Chiefs even though it is hard to stay dedicated.

I went with my dad to the Chiefs game before heading back to Ozark! Of course the Chiefs lost but we still had fun!

Kimber's First 5K!

On November 10th James and I decided to participate in the St. Joseph the Worker 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk. I love to run and tend to drag James along with me so I registered us both for the 5K. The week before I ran the Bass Pro Half Marathon so I was ready for the 5K unlike James who decided not to train and he is not a runner. But we thought it would be a great family event and bring Kimber along with us. We had a great time even though it was a hilly course. Kimber stayed awake the first 1.5 miles and then feel asleep. But we did wake her up in order to cross the finish line!

Before the race...she is so excited!

Crossing the finish line with a little fist pump to celebrate!

 She even got a ribbon!

11 Month Photos

Look at those teeth! (still don't have any besides these two)

Love to stand on my head! I think she is working on her yoga!

She likes to play in the cabinets and drawers to drag everything out so mommy can pick it up several times. We did put pulls/handles on our kitchen cabinets so we could use child locks.

My suggestions to expecting mothers, don't buy toys. Register for tupperware and dish towels!

I taught her how to talk on the phone so she thinks everything is a phone even her AngelCare Monitor.

 Loves the dish towels!

Anything to help soothe those gums!

Kimber 11 Months!

Oopsies, I forgot to post about Kimber turning 11 months!! So here we go (before she turns ONE this week)....

{I am going to move forward with this post without pictures. Blogger is saying I am out of storage so I need to figure that out.}

Updates on Kimber bullet point style!
• She has TWO teeth!
• Master walking and now trying to figure out how to run
• Loves to destroy the kitchen. Her favorites are dish towels and tupperware.
• Loves to clap
• She is into everything....her favorite is my drawer in the master bathroom.
• You play the music and she will show you her dance moves. This girl loves to dance.
• Enjoys "standing" on her head! It's so funny.

She is still wearing size 3 diapers and loves to eat. I would say her favorite foods are hot dogs, carrots, string green beans (not canned), and chips. Yes, I break off chips and let her chow down. She really is not a fan of fruit, I think it may be a texture thing.

We are still struggling with sitting down in the bath tub. So most nights, my shirt is so wet from battling it out. We are also struggling with her sleeping all night in her crib. I have cried it out a couple of times but she usually wins and is in our bed by 2:00 am.

Hopefully I can post pictures before her big FIRST birthday on Sunday!
